By placing an order at Streten, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old (or have parents’ permission to buy from us) and accept these terms & conditions which shall apply to all orders placed or to be placed at Streten for the sale and supply of any products. None of these terms & conditions affect your statutory rights. No other terms or changes to the terms & conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing signed by us.
All personal information you provide us with or that we obtain will be handled by Streten as responsible for the personal information. You have the right to inspect the information held about you. You always have the right to request Streten to delete or correct the information held about you. By accepting Streten’s Conditions, you agree to the above.
Events outside Streten’s control, which are not reasonably foreseeable, shall be considered force majeure, meaning that Streten is released from Streten’s obligations to fulfill contractual agreements. Example of such events are government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes or lack of delivery from suppliers. The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, ban, etc.
If you have received defective goods, please contact us immediately by email, firstname.lastname@example.org Streten aims to ensure all customers expectations are met, providing a high quality service. If you discover damage to a package, it should be reported to the Post Office immediately.
Cancellation and Returns Policy
All of our jewellery is custom made to order; cancellation is not possible after the order has been placed and accepted.
We hope that you will be happy with your purchase, but should an issue occur, we will do everything we can to resolve this quickly. Please note that all our jewellery is hand crafted so will not look like machine manufactured products.
We are unable to accept any returns on our personalised items, unless the goods are damaged. They cannot be returned for credit, refund, or exchange. On delivery, please check your jewellery-if you notice that any of the products in your order are damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt. Please ensure that any returned goods are returned securely in their original packaging. We recommend that you return the jewellery by ‘Signed For’ post, as until we receive the items, they are the responsibility of the customer and we are unable to accept liability for damage or loss in transit.
Streten offers a refund or exchange policy for non personalised items, so long as the items are in their original packaging and condition. The items must be returned within 14 days of purchase. We cannot however, accept refunds or exchanges on earrings for hygiene reasons.
We offer a years guarantee on all of our products. The guarantee lapses in the event of incorrect use, third-party repairs and careless handling. The warranty does not cover wear-and-tear and parts such as leather. Leather is a natural product and each hide will have its own individual characteristics and natural marks.

For Standard Orders, we aim to send your jewellery within 12 working days of receiving your order. Delivery will be made to your billing address or such other address specified by you at the time of ordering. For security reasons, all parcels must be signed for on receipt, so please state a delivery address where you or someone else will be present at the time of delivery.
You are responsible for any return shipping costs, provided there is no evident fault to the purchased item. After receiving and processed your return, Streten will reimburse the cost of the item, excluding the cost of return shipping. If your order is late, please contact Streten. We can only refund non-deliveries when the parcel is officially classified as lost by the Royal Mail. This is 15 working days after the date of delivery.
Any shipping timescales are an estimate only and do not constitute binding obligations on us. Shipping time is subject to product availability and clearance of payment. Please note that working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Please note that any duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.
All products remain Streten’s property until full payment is made. The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order. Shipping costs and payment fees are recognized before confirming the purchase. The transaction is taken in pounds sterling. You will be responsible for all charges relating to payments in a currency other than pounds sterling or any other bank charges relating to the payment to Streten. If you are under 18 years old you must have parents’ permission to purchase from Streten.
All transfers conducted through Streten are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. Please read the terms & conditions for the payment gateway choosen for the transaction as they are responsible for the transactions made.
Please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the customers own expense.
Streten reserves the right to amend any information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications, terms of purchase and product offerings without prior notice. At the event of when a product is sold out, Streten has the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid in the best way. Streten shall also notify the customer of equivalent replacement products if available.
Use of our website
All Streten’s website must be lawful and not injurious to any third party. You must not copy the content or images contained within our web pages for commercial purposes without the written consent of Streten. You must also not use Streten’s website in any way that undermines the credibility of Streten.
Each item of jewellery that you order is bespoke, every piece is crafted and finished by hand. Sizes are approximate and surface and size variations are to be expected . The correct spelling of words to be used for hand stamping are the responsibility of the customer. Any mistakes made by the customer and supplied to us, cannot be rectified once we have started to craft your jewellery. It is the responsibility of the customer to check their order confirmation to ensure that all details are correct. We will not be held liable for any personal injury caused by any of our products to the fullest extent permitted by law. We attempt to be as accurate as possible when describing our products and prices on the website. Subject to applicable law, however, we do not warrant that the product descriptions or other content available on the website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
